Sales Channel Solutions was founded by Blake Shields, a commercial leader with more than 20 years of hands-on experience across sales, sales management, internal recruitment, business development, general management and business growth.

Blake’s career progression from frontline sales through to senior commercial leadership and general management roles gives Sales Channel Solutions a practical understanding of the full sales function, from prospecting, business development and account management through to recruitment, leadership, strategy, forecasting and commercial operations.

Unlike traditional recruitment firms, Sales Channel Solutions is built on real operational leadership. Blake’s passion for recruitment developed throughout his career in general management, where he became heavily involved in building teams, developing people and creating opportunities for individuals to succeed in the right environment.

That same experience shaped the consulting side of the business. After working with companies that were underperforming, lacking structure or unsure how to scale, Blake developed a strong focus on helping businesses understand their data, improve their sales process and build systems that support growth.

Blake has also supported international expansion initiatives within the ceramics and building products sector, including helping establish trade into Brazil, assisting Chinese ceramic manufacturers entering the Australian market, and supporting the development of startup wholesale businesses through supplier partnerships with major manufacturers in China.
